General Info
Trading is permitted at events but selling is not. If you are
caught selling cards for cash you will be asked to leave the premises.
This event is Modified Swiss format. Swiss (similar to round
robin) rounds for a number of rounds to be determined by the number of players
followed by a single elimination bracket for the top 8 players in standings
after the swiss rounds. There are typically 7-8
rounds for the swiss portion of the event with each
round lasting approximately an hour and a ˝ hour lunch break after round
2. Please be on location and registered
before the close of registration. You will turn in a registration sheet (on
site) and pay, then we will collect your completed
deck list at the beginning of the first round.
You will need a UDE player number, please bring your number with you to
the event. If you have not registered for a UDE#, they
are available at most hobby stores where you play YuGiOh
or Vs System. We will have them onsite
if you do not have one. There is no cost to register for a
UDE Player #.
Prizes will be paid out based on the number of players in the
event, and is derived from a chart dictated by UDE. The top 8 players all
receive playmats. The top 4 players (survive the first round of the
elimination) receive invitations to next years’ nationals
event.
There is no age limit on these events. You are not required to
qualify for these events, anyone may play. At the event you will need $15 entry
fee, a decklist and a UDE number. If you do not have
a UDE number one will be provided for you. If you DO have a UDE number please bring it. We are able to do some look ups on
site but would appreciate all players bringing their number.
Decklists will be required for
both main deck and side deck.
